AgAdvance Journal Wins Western Magazine Award 01

Our readers include the industry’s most successful farmers — as well as the agriculture coaches,
consultants and experts who advise them. Our readers are the early adopters who understand the potential rewards of calculated risk; they’re independent thinkers who make it their business to stay on top of the industry’s latest technologies and innovations.

The Western Magazine Awards Foundation honours celebrates editorial excellence in Western Canadian magazine writing, photography, illustration and art direction. This is accomplished through an annual awards competition, a gala event where winners are announced and recognized with cash prizes, and The Magazine School, an educational program featuring WMA-winning work.

WMAF works to enhance the quality and diversity of Western Canadian magazines as well as the professional development of those working in the magazine industry to ensure the long-term vibrancy of Canadian magazines.
WMAF believes that its annual awards ceremony and professional development raise the profile of Western Canadian magazines among advertisers, readers, creators and students and expands services, training and development opportunities to the industry.
